Question and Answer

Q: Does the government need to play a stronger role in determining who owns what mass media and what kinds of media products should be manufactured?

A1: Yes, because it is a guaranteed way of ensuring quality programs and products to consumers throughout the world. It also dissuades the formation of monopolies.

A2: No, the government has no right to tell the American public what they can or cannot see/hear through media. Further more, they have no right to control the mechandise (or companies) we acquire.
